That not-knowing is the hardest part, and it’s the first thing Water Rehab & Restoration takes off your plate.
As a locally owned company based right here in Carrollton, we’re not dispatching a crew from three counties away. Our IICRC-certified technicians can be at your door in under an hour, any hour, with the equipment to extract standing water, dry out saturated drywall and subflooring, and stop mold growth before it starts. We handle the insurance side too, documenting every step and working directly with all major homeowners insurance carriers, so you’re not left decoding claim paperwork on top of everything else. It’s part of why homeowners across Carrollton have rated us 5.0 stars across nearly 200 reviews. We treat every home like the crew actually lives here, because a lot of us do.
A flooded kitchen isn’t the only disaster we’re equipped for. Our team also restores homes after fire and smoke damage, soot removal, and odor elimination from start to finish. When a room needs to be fully cleared for repairs, our contents packout service steps in. We carefully document, pack, clean, and store your belongings, then return them once your home is ready. You focus on your family, we’ll handle the rest.

Reach out to us anytime you need assistance with property restoration in Carrollton or the surrounding area of our community.
Carrollton stretches across Dallas, Denton, and Collin counties along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River, and the city’s own investment in stormwater drainage infrastructure is a sign of how seriously local officials take heavy rain events here. Neighborhoods range from established, decades-old streets near Old Downtown Carrollton to newer construction closer to the DART corridor, so plumbing age and foundation type vary block to block. What doesn’t vary is the region’s expansive clay soil, which expands and contracts enough to crack slabs and start slow leaks behind walls long before anyone notices a problem. Add in intense late-spring storms, and water damage in Carrollton often starts smaller and quieter than homeowners expect, which is exactly why early professional drying matters so much.

We had an attic water heater leak in two story house all the way down to 1st floor. We called Honey Do plumbing in McKinney to replace water heater and Water Rehab to do remediation and demolition and they worked with insurance in a long process to get us a maximum settlement to rebuild our house back to the way it was. Friendly and professional.Posted on Google![]()

These guys did an amazing job. They came in and went right to work, answered all my questions and more extremely professional. Throughout the process, they kept me completely informed and took care of everything and went above and beyond and even doing things They actually didn’t even have to do. I’ve been in the construction industry for over 25 years. I have worked with restoration companies in the past. But I was truly impressed with this company, and I would highly recommend them for anything you need they honest who did amazing jobPosted on Google![]()

Water Rehab and Restoration came in to mitigate water damage and repair the damages. They evaluated the extent of the water damage, including where water had run under the kitchen laminate flooring, and removed everything with water damage - pantry ceiling walls and shelves, kitchen flooring, cabinet toe-kick boards and dining room carpet. They set up dehumidifiers and blowers in the attic (origin of the leak) and below in the kitchen, pantry and dining room. Once everything dried out, their restoration team rebuilt the pantry (walls, ceiling and shelves), including painting, installed new laminate flooring and installed new carpet. The team also installed and painted new trim all along the floor areas. It looks beautiful. I highly recommend their work.Posted on Google![]()

Water Rehab and Restoration are experts in water damage management and reconstruction. After, they made sure that all the affected areas were treated and dried, so mold couldn't grow, they left my house las if the unfortunate water incident had never happened. I would definitely call them again.Posted on Google![]()

Foundation work caused a couple of water leaks via broken pipes. The plumber we used recommended these guys and they did all the work to immediately assess the situation, clean the mess, dry the area with fans, etc. They worked with the insurance company to reach agreement on the cost for the remediation. Then, they also quoted the work rehabbing the whole job-- tile, paint, carpet, etc. Their tradespeople were talented and conscientious, and the cost was fair. It was not anything I want to go through again, but they made it as painless as possible and they did very good work.Posted on Google![]()

Safety first! Ensure that all electrical sources are off in the affected areas. If possible, stop the source of water. Contact a professional restoration company like Water Rehab & Restoration right away to begin the assessment and water mitigation process.
The length of the restoration process depends on the extent of the damage. It can take anywhere from a couple of days to several weeks. Our team will always give you as much insight as we can, and provide you with an estimated time frame.
Many insurance policies cover water damage restoration, but coverage can vary. We recommend reviewing your policy and consulting with your insurance provider. Our team is experienced in working with insurance companies to streamline the claims process.
That depends on the extent of the water damage and whether electrical systems are affected. While small, isolated leaks are generally manageable, standing water near power outlets or extensive flooding poses serious safety hazards, so you should avoid those areas until a professional assesses the situation.
Yes, if you can do so safely. Shutting off the water at the source limits how much damage spreads, and cutting power to a wet area prevents shock hazards. If you're not sure where the shutoffs are or it doesn't feel safe, wait for our team.
It depends on the extent of the damage, but most jobs run anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. We'll walk your property, give you a realistic estimate up front, and keep you updated if the timeline shifts once we see what's behind the walls.
We remove standing water with industrial pumps and extractors, then use commercial-grade air movers and dehumidifiers to pull moisture out of walls, subflooring, and framing. We monitor moisture levels throughout the structure, above the surface and inside it, to confirm everything is fully dry before closing out the job.
Most homeowners policies cover fire damage, including smoke and soot cleanup, though coverage details vary. We work directly with insurance providers to document the damage and support your claim from the start.
