When you first find water in your home, it’s hard to know who to call. Your plumber? Your insurance company? A cleanup crew? Every hour you spend deciding gives that water more time to soak into baseboards, cabinets, and flooring. The good news is that one call can get the whole recovery moving.
Water Rehab & Restoration is a locally owned restoration company serving Lake Dallas and the surrounding Denton County communities. Our friendly technicians are IICRC certified in water damage restoration and applied structural drying, so you get trained professionals who use proven methods instead of guesswork. We answer the phone 24/7/365, and we’re usually on-site within an hour.
Our customers often say our crews are on time, explain each step of the process, and treat their homes with respect. We work with all major homeowners insurance providers and provide detailed documentation to support your claim. Those experiences show up in the 5-star Google rating our team has earned across DFW.
Beyond water cleanup, we help homeowners recover from all types of property damage. If you’re facing smoke, soot, or stubborn odors, our fire damage restoration team can help turn things around. We also offer contents packout services to carefully inventory, pack, and store your furniture, electronics, and valuables while repairs take place. And if hidden moisture leads to mold growth, we can take care of mold removal as part of the job so your home is fully safe and restored.
Living along the shores of Lewisville Lake is one of the best parts of calling Lake Dallas home, but it brings some moisture challenges. Homes near the shoreline and low-lying streets can face runoff and rising water during heavy spring rains. That was clear in 2015, when the lake reached record levels. Higher humidity near the water can also slow natural drying, which gives hidden moisture more time to cause damage. Many residents spend weekends on the water or commute down I-35E each day, so a slow leak can go unnoticed for hours. North Texas clay soil and occasional hard freezes also put extra strain on plumbing.

We had an attic water heater leak in two story house all the way down to 1st floor. We called Honey Do plumbing in McKinney to replace water heater and Water Rehab to do remediation and demolition and they worked with insurance in a long process to get us a maximum settlement to rebuild our house back to the way it was. Friendly and professional.Posted on Google![]()

These guys did an amazing job. They came in and went right to work, answered all my questions and more extremely professional. Throughout the process, they kept me completely informed and took care of everything and went above and beyond and even doing things They actually didn’t even have to do. I’ve been in the construction industry for over 25 years. I have worked with restoration companies in the past. But I was truly impressed with this company, and I would highly recommend them for anything you need they honest who did amazing jobPosted on Google![]()

Water Rehab and Restoration came in to mitigate water damage and repair the damages. They evaluated the extent of the water damage, including where water had run under the kitchen laminate flooring, and removed everything with water damage - pantry ceiling walls and shelves, kitchen flooring, cabinet toe-kick boards and dining room carpet. They set up dehumidifiers and blowers in the attic (origin of the leak) and below in the kitchen, pantry and dining room. Once everything dried out, their restoration team rebuilt the pantry (walls, ceiling and shelves), including painting, installed new laminate flooring and installed new carpet. The team also installed and painted new trim all along the floor areas. It looks beautiful. I highly recommend their work.Posted on Google![]()

Foundation work caused a couple of water leaks via broken pipes. The plumber we used recommended these guys and they did all the work to immediately assess the situation, clean the mess, dry the area with fans, etc. They worked with the insurance company to reach agreement on the cost for the remediation. Then, they also quoted the work rehabbing the whole job-- tile, paint, carpet, etc. Their tradespeople were talented and conscientious, and the cost was fair. It was not anything I want to go through again, but they made it as painless as possible and they did very good work.Posted on Google![]()

Faster than most people expect. Water can soak into drywall and subflooring within hours, and mold can begin forming in as little as 24 to 48 hours in a warm, humid climate like North Texas. That's why response time matters as much as the repair itself.
We use moisture meters and thermal imaging to check inside walls and under flooring, because a surface can look and feel dry while the material underneath is still holding water. That hidden moisture is exactly what leads to mold later if it's missed.
In many cases, yes, especially if the damage is contained to one area. For larger jobs involving multiple rooms or air quality concerns from mold or smoke, we'll let you know if temporary relocation makes sense and help you understand why.
Mold can begin developing within 24 to 48 hours in the right conditions, which is common in North Texas given the humidity. That short window is why fast water extraction is as much about preventing mold as it is about drying carpet.
Timelines vary widely based on how much of the home was affected, ranging from several days for smoke and odor cleanup to weeks or months for homes needing structural rebuilding. We give you a realistic estimate after assessing the full scope.
If water is spreading through your home or you are finding yourself faced with property damage, call Water Rehab & Restoration now. Our certified team is ready day or night to stop the damage, dry your property, and help you get back to enjoying life by the lake.
